St. John’s Bread and Life would like to extend a special THANK YOU to all sponsors, donors and restaurants listed below that participated last week to celebrate our 30 is Enough Dine out to End Hunger event. 30 is Enough: Dine out to End Hunger took place on November 7th and 8th where participating restaurants donated a percent of that days sales to our cause to help feed the hungry. With the recent devastation of Hurricane Sandy your generous donations were appreciated more then ever as we have been responsive to an additional 1,200 people daily; feeding those who lost so much in the storm including trips with our Mobile Soup Kitchen, serving an additional 3,142 meals to date at Coney Island and the Rockaways.
